After the attacks of September 11, 2001 American Flags were being manufactured at a record breaking pace.
Everywhere you looked you could see symbols of patriotism.
Today, after years of war, those symbols are gradually fading once again. Now, more than ever, a show of
support for our deployed troops is most vital. The Yellow Ribbon has long signified the support of troops and
has adorned many a tree or post awaiting their impending return from battle. As the tradition of tying a Yellow
Ribbon 'round the old oak tree' is fading, a new trend is emerging.
Enchanted Tutu is proud to launch Operation Sea of Support for the members of the United States Armed
Forces returning from deployment missions in Iraq and Afghanistan theaters. Our mission is to provide each
little girl of the service member a Yellow Ribbon Tutu (free of charge) to wear for their mother or father's
homecoming ceremony.
The idea is to produce a stunning and moving visual show of support for our troops. Imagine our troops
walking off of that plane to a sea of yellow, hence a "Sea of Support". Jessica Levy of Bows4Maddie has
partnered with Enchanted Tutu to provide a free matching Yellow hairbow to go with each tutu also!
The Yellow Ribbon Tutu is free of charge for daughters of those service members serving on deployment in
Iraq or Afghanistan only. The Yellow Ribbon Tutu is available for purchase to the public at $40.00 each. 40% of
the proceeds from each Yellow Ribbon Tutu sale goes directly to The Yellow Ribbon Fund, an organization that
